Daphne

Daphne

Daphne odora

This early-blooming spring shrub has a beautifully intoxicating scent that can't be ignored. Just be sure never to ingest any part of it, as it's toxic. Pictured is the 'Aureo-marginata' variety. All varieties of this plant need well drained but moist soil and require little pruning to maintain their shape.
